Is this an archive for fan fiction?

No. We don't archive fic here; we just provide links to it. This means that our links may occasionally be incorrect or broken. If you come across a broken link, please let us know.

Is this a list of recommendations?

No. This is a list of all works of fan fiction we know of that feature Harry and Draco in a romantic relationship after their years at Hogwarts. Fics we personally recommend are marked (see below for more information on how to find these), but we don't guarantee that every fic listed on this site is a good read or is of high quality. Check out "The Tens" to see which fics are most popular, and read reviews left by others.

What kinds of stories do you list?

We list Harry/Draco fics that take place after the boys have left school and are adults. See our Listing Guidelines for more information.

How do I suggest a fic to be listed?

We welcome your recommendations and suggestions! Please email them to us at apreslecole@gmail.com or use the contact form. Please provide us as much information about the fic as you can, including title, author, and link.

Can I submit stories to the site?

The admin team makes all additions to the site, but we welcome your suggestions! Email links to fics that meet the Listing Guidlines to apreslecole@gmail.com or use the contact form.

What are the ratings used on the site?

Après l'école respects the wishes and original intent of the authors of all the fics linked. Ratings used are what was stated by the author or, if there was no rating on the original fic, at the administrator's discretion, probably along the lines of the MPAA rating system.

What are the story classifications?

Stories are classified by categories, genres, and warnings. We use the warnings provided by the authors and do not add our own without the consent of the author. Note that warnings can be subjective and some writers choose not to warn for certain things. We are not responsible for any disturbing content you may find on someone else's site, but if you have a concern about something we have linked to, contact us.

How do I register or log in?

Registration has been disabled; only the administrators have accounts. However, you can still leave reviews and ratings on the listed stories.

It says I'm an author on your site, but I didn't give you permission to archive my story.

We haven't archived your fic; we've just linked to it elsewhere. If you would prefer that we use a different URL, please let us know.

If I leave a review for a story you've listed, will the author get it?

No, though we encourage you to review here on the site! Reviews and ratings you post here are for the benefit of other readers. You should send feedback to the author directly. Please note that the admins of the site reserve the right to delete any reviews at any time.

How do I find the stories you recommend?

There are several ways to find fics on the site. You could select a Category and browse through for fics of interest, or you could use our Search Engine.
To find fics we highly recommend, look for the star or search the summary field using the word "rec". To find fics we think feature especially hot smut, look for the button or search the summary field using the word "hot".

How do I find fics of a particular length?

The word count feature is NOT functional on this site since we do not archive fics here. However, we have set up four sub-categories for lengths: short, medium, long, and novel. These can be found under each of the three main categories; click on any category for more information about how these are defined. To search for fics of a particular length, you will need to use the advanced search feature. Follow the directions there for searching for fics in particular subcategories. You can search on multiple categories and sub-categories at once.

A link on the site is broken. How can I let you know?
